June 27th's main event is the Ohakune Mountain Mardi Gras. The party starts at 7:00 pm be sure to dress up. FULL STOP will start at 7:30pm to play the best of the Ska music. 8:30pm will call on the HUGE Mardi Gras FIRE & FIREWORKS Display. And more concerts and shows at by 8:45, 10;00pm, and 11:30pm by the KINGSTON, MIDNIGHT YOUTH and your favorite GENERAL LEE, respectively.

A space for optimism
“A space for optimism” is 2009's theme of Lismore Lantern Parade in New South Wales Australia on June 20-21. Despite the pessimistic occurrence about economic, social and environmental concerns individual and organizations cope up in various ways to retain a good standing.
The Lizmore Lantern Parade aims to conjure optimism and to be creative. This is an award winning community festival that will feature artistic and brightly made lantern floats, dancing, music, workshops, other events (market delight market stalls, lantern parade, street party) and a fire event finale that will start at 6:45pm at the Jolley Field . On Sunday the event will feature The Big Breakfast at Carrington Street which will start at 8:30am, cooking demonstration,food debate and also other events)

Dance Fever in Australia
Its the month of June and it's the peak of dancing queens and kings in Australia. Whether you are a professional, amateur or just a folly who loves the beat of dancing, ready yourselves to experience the Biggest Dance Celebration of Australia's Dance Festival. This event will be happening on the 12th of June and ending it soon on the 14th of June at State Sports Centre Sydney Olympic Park.
Join the party with the starts of “Dancing with the Starts” and “SYTYCD”. Party in the ADF Party Rooms starts at 10:30 onwards on all three nights. Shows by SYTYCD, other various world tango champions, and known dance personalities are the most awaited and prepared shows.
Main shows for June 12th will feature “It takes Two” from 8:30pm-10:30pm. June 13th - “All Things contemporary” from 4:30-6:30. And June 14th – “Celebration of Cultures” that will start early at 8:30pm-10:30pm. This festival is very attractive as this is choreographed by the best and only by the top choreographers.
